What did you see today?
I primarily came out here to see Colt McCoy, but Sergio Kindle and all those guys did a great job. I wanted to see Colt throw today, and check out the health of his shoulder, and I thought he had a great workout.

What is your impression about how Texas runs its Pro Day?
They do a great job. Their hospitality is something that must be recognized. It starts with Mack Brown. Mack is such a personable gentleman, and he always makes you feel welcome here at Texas.

What do you think of the facilities?
They’re very unique. First class is the first thing that comes to mind. The weight room and the environment is very player friendly. It’s very conducive to team building and group dynamics, so I really like the layout here at Texas.

Have you gotten an impression of the family atmosphere here and its importance?
It’s a big deal for me. I have a home on Lake Travis, and my daughter is a senior in high school there. I follow The University of Texas, I think Mack’s program is something to be proud of, and it is always nice to come down here and see his operation.

How do you feel about the city of Austin?
I love Austin. I love the Lake Travis Cavaliers – three state championships in a row, but this is a great city

What did you take away from the actual throws Colt McCoy made?
He threw the ball well, and was very active. I don’t know the number of throws he had, but he threw the routes that I look for, and those are the ones you get more information from. He has excellent film, I think his career, his intangibles, and what he brings to the game speaks for itself. I think number one, everybody just wanted to see that he was healthy.

And your thoughts on Jordan Shipley?
He had a heck of a workout. Catches everything, just like you see on film.
