Harley Sewell, a LB and OG for the Texas Longhorns from 1950-52 died Saturday at 80.
Sewell went on to an 11-year NFL career. Sewell was an All-Southwest Conference player for Texas in 1951 and 1952. He was a first-round draft pick (13th overall) by the Detroit Lions. He was inducted into the College Football Hall of Fame in 2000.
