The Texas Longhorns have had two below average seasons in a row now. During this 2012 football season, they could finally return as a threat to Oklahoma. The defense was actually elite last season, and should be once again with Jackson Jeffcoat and Alex Okafor terrorizing opposing QBs. Yes, the quarterback situation seems a little messy with David Ash and Case McCoy, but both players were incredibly young and inexperienced last year and should be improved with whoever plays/starts will be better. The offense returns all but one starter, and either quarterback should be able to rely on the running game with Malcolm Brown, Joe Bergeron, and Super freshman Johnathan Gray in the backfield. Biggest question of the season … Can the offensive line meet and exceed their expectation?
